Colliers | South Carolina and Colliers | Charlotte brokers are being honored by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), which represents the world’s elite in industrial and office brokerage, for its annual Top Member-to-Member Transaction Awards of 2020 in the categories of industrial and investment, receiving two out of the 14 transaction awards and named the largest transaction overall.
The winning transaction, the sale of an industrial investment portfolio, consisted of 37 properties, 57 tenants and 5.5 million square feet across 16 counties in South Carolina and Charlotte. According to Costar, the transaction volume accounts for the largest single acquisition of properties within South Carolina.
Chuck Salley, SIOR and Dave Mathews, SIOR, along with Colliers’ Columbia industrial brokerage team members Thomas Beard and John Peebles, spearheaded the efforts to market and sell the portfolio and worked with Colliers brokers in other markets who played a role in leasing the properties and touring prospects.

The Top Transaction Awards are presented to the largest sales and lease transactions, ranked by dollar volume, completed by SIOR members worldwide. In 2020, 483 SIOR members reported 1812 transactions, totaling more than 117 million square feet and $10.7 billion in leases and sales in the industrial, investment, office, land, alternative assets and redevelopment sectors.
