Three Colliers offices collaborate to find top location for growing memory foam mattress company
Columbia, SC/Charlotte, NC – Colliers brokers from three offices collaborated to guide MLILY USA, the retail brand of Healthcare SC, LLC, a subsidiary of China-based Healthcare Co., Ltd., through an expansion and new location at 874 Paragon Way in Rock Hill, SC, a 277,290-square-foot distribution building.
MLILY enlisted Yang Chen of Colliers | San Francisco; Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR, Thomas Beard and John Peebles of Colliers | South Carolina’s Columbia office; and Lawrence Shaw, SIOR of Colliers | Charlotte for tenant representation services.
Avison Young’s Chris Skibinski, Henry Lobb and Tom Tropeano represented Hartz Mountain, the landlord in the transaction.
MLILY USA is a mattress producer dedicated to the mission of changing how people sleep, crafting mattresses and pillows with advanced foams designed to deliver a cooler sleep while wicking away moisture and fighting odors. The company manufactures its products in a 677,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art factory in Winnsboro, SC.
After the Winnsboro plant opened in 2019, MLILY quickly found the need to expand operations to meet their growing distrubution needs as a result of increased demand. The company recently opened a 600,000-square-foot distribution center in Phoenix, AZ to aid in their West Coast distribution efforts and charged the Colliers team with finding a space to lease for East Coast distribution that was within an hour of the Winnsboro plant.
