Colliers International’s Peter Fennelly, MCR, SIOR receives SLCR designation from CoreNet

CHARLESTON, SC – Colliers International Charleston’s Peter Fennelly, MCR, SIOR has received the prestigious Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate (SLCR) designation from CoreNet Global, the world’s leading association for corporate real estate (CRE). Fennelly, Market President of Colliers International, Charleston, is the first Colliers South Carolina staff member to receive this designation.

The focus of the SLCR education is the development of critical leadership skills for those positioning themselves for a greater role in the commercial real estate industry. It is designed to broaden one’s business perspective, enhance strategic approaches to decision making, hone financial analysis skills and expand leadership abilities.

To qualify for participation in the SLCR program one must meet the criteria of one of the following items:

  • 10 years’ experience in CRE, or
  • Hold a Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation / Board Certified in Corporate Real Estate (BCCR) certification, or
  • Hold a position as head of a CRE department, or
  • Lead a team that provides CRE services to senior CRE leadership
