Colliers International announces President’s Award recipient

COLUMBIA, SC – Colliers International South Carolina announced that the 2014 President’s Award was presented to Ron Anderson, Vice President of Research and Information Technology. The award, which Colliers has given annually for over 30 years, recognizes one member of the Colliers International South Carolina staff who has excelled in their role at the company and made meaningful contributions to the broader Colliers organization in South Carolina.
Anderson joined Colliers in 2012. His extraordinary skills have enabled the company to provide essential, timely data to the company’s staff and also to clients across South Carolina and beyond to assist in their investment, acquisition and disposition decisions. Anderson is also responsible for the company’s technology platform, and in that role, he has led Colliers’ initiatives to create industry-leading resources for the firm’s brokerage, property management, accounting and project management teams.
Anderson is a graduate of the University of Texas and holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. He serves as a member of the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority and the Environmental Policy Advisory Committee Central Midlands Council of Governments. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA) and previously served as its Chair.
Anderson is a former member of the City of Columbia Planning Commission and the Executive Committee of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and is past Chair of the Partner in Education Committee.
