Colliers’ brokerage associates represented both the landlord and tenant for the new lease at the Meridian office tower
Colliers International’s Philip Vann, CCIM represented the tenant, Highfill Infrastructure Engineering, P.C., in the lease of a ±1,528-square-foot office suite at the Meridian office tower. Tommy Johnson represented the landlord of Meridian office tower, HPT Sunbelt Portfolio, LLC.
“We were able to assist the tenant in negotiating a lease in a short time frame to allow business continuation,” said Vann. “The lease was executed after state and local governments had suggested work-from-home regulations, but Colliers was able to keep the lease process flowing for our clients.”
Highfill Infrastructure Engineering, PC (HIGHFILL) worked with Colliers International to locate and negotiate a lease in a short time period due to their former location being sold. Highfill is a principle-centered engineering consulting firm specializing in community and municipal water infrastructure engineering. The company expertise is centered in water supply, treatment, storage and distribution facilities; wastewater collection, conveyance, treatment and reuse facilities; stormwater management and treatment; and civil site design for institutional, commercial, and residential developments.
“We appreciated our landlord’s flexibility in being able to accommodate the tenant in a very short time frame during a challenging operating environment and look forward to having Highfill onboard,” Johnson said, landlord representative for the Meridian.
The Meridian is located at 1320 Main Street and is a ±336,082-square-foot Class A office building. This 17-story building is in the heart of Columbia’s Central Business District and has efficient ±22,000-square-foot floor plates, 10-foot ceilings and wide window bays. Market on Main is nestled on the first floor of the Meridian, providing an exceptional dining and shopping experience.
