Colliers’ John Montgomery and Dillon Swayngim receive prestigious Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) designation

Colliers l South Carolina announced that John Montgomery and Dillon Swayngim have earned the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) designation.

The SIOR designation is awarded to real estate professionals in recognition of their knowledge, experiences and proven successes in the markets they serve. To receive the designation, professionals must meet specific requirements, including recognition by developers, lenders and investors, a high level of transactional production and SIOR’s strong education and ethical requirements.

Montgomery joined Colliers’ Spartanburg office in 2018 with an extensive background in master-planned communities, industrial, commercial, retail and residential development projects. As a Managing Director specializing in industrial brokerage, he guides clients through the development process from land acquisition and development through lease-up. He is a graduate of the Liberty Fellowship Program and the National Outdoor Leadership School, and he has served on the Board of Trustees for Converse College, the Board of Directors for Glenn Springs Academy, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Upstate, SAFE Homes Rape Crisis Coalition, Spartanburg Community College Foundation and the University of South Carolina Upstate Foundation Board. He is a member of the Church of the Advent and is the current Chairman of the Commission of Public Works for the City of Spartanburg as well as a commission for Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District. He was awarded the Colliers l South Carolina Top Producers Award and Walter M. Keenan Award in 2022. He graduated from the University of the South and holds a Master of Real Estate Development degree from Columbia University.

Swayngim is a Vice President and an industrial brokerage specialist in the Greenville-Spartanburg market, specializing in landlord and tenant representation as well as industrial investment sales. He received Colliers | South Carolina’s 2020 Rising Star Award and has been named a CoStar Power Broker multiple times. He was also awarded the Colliers l South Carolina Top Producers Award in 2022. He is a member of the Spartanburg Young Professionals, an organization of the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce that focuses on social and leadership development, and United Way of the Piedmont’s Young Leaders Society. Swayngim graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in economics and finance.
