Colliers’ John Peebles receives prestigious Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) designation

Colliers l South Carolina announced John Peebles has earned the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) designation.
The SIOR designation is awarded to real estate professionals in recognition of their knowledge, experience and proven successes in the markets they serve. To receive the designation, professionals must meet specific requirements, including recognition by developers, lenders and investors, a high level of transactional production and meeting SIOR’s education and strong ethical requirements.

Peebles is a Senior Brokerage Associate and member of the industrial brokerage team in Columbia, specializing in leasing, user sales and investment sales of industrial properties throughout central South Carolina. He works alongside team members Chuck Salley, Dave Mathews and Thomas Beard, who are all SIOR designees. The market-leading team has been awarded three worldwide awards from SIOR: the 2020 Top Industrial and Investment Transaction Awards and the 2022 Top Member-to-Member Associate Transaction Award.
Peebles was invited to attend his first SIOR conference as a Junior Scholar while interning at Colliers during college. He transitioned into brokerage in 2019 and joined SIOR as a Member Associate prior to earning the designation.
He has been recognized as a CoStar PowerBroker consistently since 2019 for industrial leasing transactions in the Columbia, SC market. He was awarded the Colliers l South Carolina Top 10 Producers Award in 2022 and the Colliers | South Carolina Service Excellence Award in 2020. In 2020, 2021 and 2022, his team received the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association Commercial Circle of Excellence Gold Award and also received CCRA’s Sales Transaction of the Year Award in 2020. Peebles graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
