Colliers Keenan Brokers Lease Renewal for Premier Private Fine Dining Club in Downtown Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC – August 5, 2008 – As the building leasing agent for Parkway Properties, owner of The Tower at 1301 Gervais Street (often referred to as the Wilbur Smith Building), Colliers Keenan has brokered the lease renewal of The Summit Club, one of Columbia’s premier private fine dining clubs which has been located in The Tower since its founding.
The Summit Club is located on the top floor of the building and has panoramic 360-degree views of downtown Columbia. Under the terms of the lease renewal brokered by David Lockwood, Henry Roe, and Beronica Whisnant of Colliers Keenan, The Summit Club will continue to occupy the 20th floor of the building through 2014.
Recent interior improvements have been made to The Summit Club to enhance its finely appointed interior. The Tower recently installed a new security desk in the first-floor lobby and renovated the buildings exterior courtyard and sidewalks with new surfaces and landscaping.
