COLLIERS KEENAN BROKERS LAND SALE FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT IN FOREST ACRES
COLUMBIA, SC – November 11, 2008 – Colliers Keenan agent Pendleton Grove has brokered the sale of seven acres of land slated for redevelopment in the Forest Acres neighborhood. The parcel, located in the 4100 block of Forest Drive, will be the future home of Columbia’s newest Gold’s Gym, a full-service SCBT branch, and an additional retail building. The 50,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Gold’s Gym Forest Acres facility will be the area’s fourth location and will be one of the largest athletic clubs statewide. Construction plans are underway with a projected opening in April 2009.

COLUMBIA, SC – Colliers Keenan agent Pendleton Grove has brokered the sale of the Red Wing Rollerway on Decker Boulevard to KNC Trading, LLC. Formally owned by the estate of Cecil Barnes, the 29,000-square-foot landmark roller-skating rink will close and become home to a beauty supply wholesale and retail operation.
COLLIERS KEENAN BROKERS LAND SALE FOR LOCAL PHARMACY IN PINE RIDGE
PINE RIDGE, SC – Colliers Keenan agent Pendleton Grove has brokered the sale of 1.13 acres of land in Pine Ridge to Gaston Health Associates. Construction for a 2,600-square-foot building is slated to begin soon, and Pine Ridge Pharmacy is expected to commence operations from the new facility in early 2009. Leasing opportunities are available for 1,200 additional square feet of space in the building.
