Market Highlights

The first quarter saw occupancy back on the rise as the Charleston multifamily market experienced strong absorption of 922 units, just outpacing deliveries. The majority of these new deliveries target higher-earning residents with luxury amenities, pushing average rents towards renewed growth. 1,807 units are expected to deliver in Q2 and Q3, making additional starts likely for 2026 and 2027 deliveries.
