Economic uncertainty slows leasing as manufacturing grows


Market Highlights

Broad trade uncertainty caused industrial leasing to stall in Q1 as many occupiers paused to evaluate a rapidly changing global economic environment. Robust residual activity from the end of 2024 carried into the first quarter, however, with several notable deals in late stages of execution spurring optimism for the second and third quarters. Speculative construction has slowed to a trickle, which has the potential to create challenges as Scout Motors suppliers look to absorb space in coming quarters.
