South Carolina saw healthy levels of industrial activity in Q1 as Greenville-Spartanburg continued to lead the state with several notable manufacturing and data deals, headlined by Eaton’s lease of 861,000 square feet in Union to manufacture three-phase transformers. Activity began to taper into March, however, as rapidly rising levels of trade policy uncertainty caused manufacturers and warehousing users to pause and reevaluate plans.
