Colliers | South Carolina is pleased to announce the company’s 2020 Innovation Award was presented to Macy Trainor, Marketing Assistant in its Greenville office. The Innovation Award recognizes and honors revolutionary actions resulting in incremental or radical advancement in thinking, processes or outcomes while promoting collaboration, service and operational excellence, innovation and fun.
When the COVID-19 pandemic shook up the commercial real estate industry, Trainor created, designed and implemented a virtual tour strategy for Colliers’ brokerage teams and came up with new ways to digitially pitch for new business. Additionally, she learned web design and elevated property marketing strategies for some of the company’s key projects in the Greenville market.
“Macy showed incredible initiative, drive and motivation during a time when the company moved to a work-from-home strategy,” said Liz McCary, Vice President of Marketing for Colliers | South Carolina. “She adapted to the social-distanced environment that COVID threw at us and really made us stand out against our competitors in a time it would have been easy to sit back and wait.”
As a Marketing Assistant, Trainor assists with the property marketing for Colliers’ brokerage teams in its Greenville office, creating materials and executing property marketing strategies. She graduated magna cum laude from Winthrop University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She is a Brandcast Certified Designer and also holds certifications in Hootsuite Social Marketing and HubSpot Email Marketing, which has allowed her to grow an ever-evolving skillset in the digital marketing field.
