Weston, Inc. acquires 3240 Brittain Drive in Newberry, SC

Colliers to handle leasing, marketing and property management; LCK to handle project management for building improvements

Weston, Inc., an Ohio-based industrial real estate owner, has acquired a vacant 182,160-square-foot industrial building at 3240 Brittain Drive in Newberry, SC.

“Weston sees this property in Newberry as a value-add investment and is planning several improvements which will increase the functionality of the property for a new user,” said Eileen McConville, Asset Manager for Weston, Inc. “We know that Newberry County will attract a healthy pool of prospects to lease the building as it is a great county for doing business and the quality of life is excellent.”

Colliers’ industrial brokerage team of Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR, Thomas Beard and John Peebles represented Weston in the purchase and is currently marketing the property for lease. Grant Butler from Colliers’ Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division has been retained as the Property Manager.

Weston has also hired LCK, Colliers | South Carolina’s project management affiliate, to oversee and manage the capital improvements at the property to prepare the building for occupancy.
