Collins & Lacy, P.C. Attorneys Jack Griffeth and Ross Plyler Elected to SC Bar Association House of Delegates

COLUMBIA, SC – April 25, 2012 – Collins & Lacy, P.C. attorneysJack Griffeth and Ross Plyler, both of the firm’s Greenville office,were elected to the South Carolina Bar Association House of Delegates inthe Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. The House of Delegates acts as thelegislative arm of the South Carolina Bar Association and convenes atleast twice annually to establish the policy of the Bar. Counties aredivided into judicial districts and allotted a certain number ofdelegates who each serve a two-year term.
“Though we have always been active members of the South Carolina BarAssociation, we are honored to be chosen as delegates on behalf of ourcircuit and to play a role in the policy of the Bar,” said JackGriffeth.
In addition to practicing in employment law, college and university lawand mediation, Jack is past president of the Greenville Bar Associationand president elect of the South Carolina Bar Foundation, whose missionis to fund the advancement of justice by improving access, education andaccountability. Ross Plyler practices in insurance coverage, commercialtransportation and college and university law, and he serves on theGoodwill Foundation Board of Directors.
