Collins & Lacy Senior Paralegal Monica McGee to assume Palmetto Paralegal Association Presidency

Collins & Lacy, P.C. announced Senior Paralegal Monica McGee, SCCP, RP will be assuming the position of president for the Palmetto Paralegal Association effective January 1, 2024.
The Palmetto Paralegal Association (PPA) was established in 1988 to promote professional development through continuing legal education and to enhance the recognition of the paralegal profession within the legal community.
Based in Columbia, South Carolina, PPA’s membership is comprised of students enrolled in a paralegal program, paralegals employed by law firms, courts, government agencies, and private businesses, or individuals providing services to the legal community.
Monica has served as Secretary to the Executive Board of PPA since 2018, and was Newsletter Chair for 2023 while also President-Elect. As president, Monica will be providing leadership for new initiatives to boost membership and membership services.
