Columbia Attorney Named President-Elect

COLUMBIA, SC – July 20, 2009 – The Bar Foundation is pleased to announce Toyya Brawley Gray as President-Elect of its Board of Directors. Gray, of The Law Offices of Toyya Brawley Gray, LLC received her journalism degree from the University of South Carolina and her JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

While in law school, Gray worked as a law clerk for Richland County Solicitor’s Office as well as a civil litigation law firm. She also served as a judicial law clerk for Judge John D. Geathers. Immediately prior to opening her own office, Gray was a founding partner with Jabber Gray & Isaac. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Office of the SC Attorney General. Her memberships include the SC Bar, American Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, SC Trial Lawyers Association, Richland County Bar Association and the Columbia Lawyers Association.
