Columbia Chamber welcomes Henri E. Baskins as Executive Vice President

COLUMBIA, SC – The Columbia Chamber is excited to announce the newest addition to the team, Henri E. Baskins. Henri will serve as the Executive Vice President and provide managerial and public policy leadership to the current staff.

Henri is a seasoned business woman with a superior reputation across the Midlands and will be able to provide a wealth of experience to our Partners and the community,” Carl Blackstone, Columbia Chamber President and CEO said. “I am thrilled to include her in the Columbia Chamber family and anticipate the exceptional work she will be able to provide to our public policy efforts. I look forward to working with her as we continue our efforts to build a bridge between the Midlands community and its businesses.”

Baskins served as Regional Director of Regulatory and External Affairs with AT&T and retired in 2011 after more than 40 years with the company. She covered numerous disciplines including engineering, planning, government relations and contract negotiations. Since 2012, Baskins has served as the Executive Director of the Greater Columbia Community Relations Council.
