Columbia City Council held its regular meeting on Wednesday this week. Ordinarily council meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first and the third Tuesday of each month in City Hall. Last week, however, in observance of the death of a city police officer, the meeting was canceled. This week, Tuesday was election day, a schedule conflict with any city meeting.
