Columbia Film Society welcomes Dr. Thaddeus Jones to team

The Columbia Film Society announced the hiring of Dr. Thaddeus Jones Jr. as Director of Programming. Jones will lead film programming for the Nickelodeon Theatre and direct the Indie Grits fellowship and media education programs.

A storyteller at heart, Jones has over 10 years experience in filmmaking, writing and media education. For the last six years he has managed his own media production company. He earned a Doctorate in Business from Northcentral University, a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Masters of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of South Carolina.

“Thaddeus brings a strong sense of community to our work, said Anita Floyd, Executive Director. “We are excited to have his experience and fresh ideas to help us build quality programs for our members, artists and community.”
