Columbia Museum of Art Contemporaries Announce New Board Members and Executive Committee

Next generation of museum supporters plan year of cultural and social events

 

COLUMBIA, SC – The Contemporaries, a membership affiliate group of the Columbia Museum of Art dedicated to engaging young professionals in the arts and cultivating and leading the next generation of museum supporters, announces the 2015-2016 board members, as well as its new executive committee. The Contemporaries board members are:

Board officers include: Haskell Kibler, President; Katy Humphries, vice president; Virginia Roach, treasurer; Lindsay Joyner, secretary, and Brian Dolphin, historian.

We are excited to introduce the newest members of the Board to build on our success,” says Haskell Kibler, Contemporaries president. “This dynamic group of new Board members will be a great compliment to an already outstanding Board which last year raised $12,000 towards the Art Acquisition Fund.”

“The Contemporaries is a terrific group of area-professionals dedicated to the museum,” says museum liaison Brian Dolphin. “Since I became involved with the group at the beginning of the year, membership has increased by 15%. This is a testament to the board members’ networks and standing in the community. I look forward to being associated with this amazing group for years to come.”
