Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR) elects board of directors for 2020-2021

Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR) introduces a talented group of community leaders for their 2020-2021 board of directors. This summer, the organization elected their executive committee, appointed committee chairs, and welcomed seven new board members. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the board has been working diligently to pivot COR’s organizational offerings to best serve the Columbia community and its members. COR’s board members for the year include:

Executive Committee:

  • Vice Chair Strategic Initiatives: Ashley Cady, Flock and Rally
  • Vice Chair Operations: A.J. Hernandez, YMCA of Columbia
  • Treasurer: Anne Langley, South Carolina Education Lottery
  • Secretary: Carrie Walker, South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation
  • Immediate Past Chairperson and Development Chair: Briana Batemen, Office of US Senator Tim Scott

Upcoming COR Volunteer Opportunity
COR is hosting a blood drive with The Central South Carolina Red Cross. This volunteer opportunity to give blood is open to the public. All donors will receive a free COVID-19 antibody test. Walk-ins will be allowed, but registration is encouraged.
