Columbia Regional Sports Council Welcomes Fifth Annual Ladies East Coast Classic to Columbia, SC

COLUMBIA, SC  – June 17, 2008 – The Columbia Regional Sports Council is pleased to announce the arrival of the Fifth Annual Ladies East Coast Classic, a handicap bowling tournament, to Columbia on three separate weekends.  The tournament kicks off June 21-22, followed by three returns June 28 – 29 and in July 11-13 and the 18-20, 2008.   The tournament will be played at Anchor Lanes located at 1000 Columbia Ave in Irmo and Royal Z lanes at 8512 Two Notch Road in Columbia. 

The Ladies East Coast Classic will bring women from all over the East coast to Columbia.  Many are traveling from Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Washington DC, Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina.  This bowling tournament will bring 400 room nights to the region with an estimated $125,000 in economic impact.
