Columbia Regional Sports Council Welcomes the Southeast Fencing Tournament

COLUMBIA, SC – May 1, 2008 – The Southeast Section of the United States Fencing Association will hold their 2008 qualifying tournament for Division IA and Under 19 National Championships on May 3-4, 2008 at the Jamil Shrine Center located at 206 Jamil Road, Columbia, SC. The event begins at 8:00 a.m. each day and is free and open to the public.
Two hundred or more of the best epee, foil and saber fencers from across the Southeast will battle for the title of Southeastern Champion and the right to advance to the national championships.
The Columbia Regional Sports Council is non-profit organization committed to serving as the central clearinghouse for information regarding the sponsorship, promotion, and coordination of sporting events, facilities, and associations in the Columbia region.
