Columbia, S.C. Based RECLAIM Workshop Rebrands as Bricker & Beam

COLUMBIA, SC – RECLAIM Workshop, LLC, a Columbia based custom furniture design company, has rebranded as Bricker & Beam, LLC.
“When I started the company in 2012, it was something I was doing on the side here and there for friends and family,” said owner and lead designer, Josh Cox. “In the time since then, I could not have dreamed of the success we would see. Focusing now on building and designing one of a kind pieces full time, I felt rebranding would set in stone my company’s presence and mainstay in the design industry both locally, and hopefully one day, nationally.”
Bricker & Beam, named in honor of Cox’s grandfather who too was a woodworker and taught him the timeless trade, creates custom leather, steel, glass and hardwood furniture, including coffee tables, bar stools, chairs, dining room tables, dressers, headboards and more. In Columbia, Cox has worked with Motor Supply Co. Bistro to design tables for their recent patio renovation, as well as made the restaurant new handmade, hardwood charcuterie boards.

Each piece is made to order in the company’s shop, providing Cox and his team the opportunity to work closely with clients when developing tailored furniture solutions.

“Collaborating with customers is essential to our design operation and structure,” said Cox. “We’re able to get them involved in the process on a personal level, creating pieces that mean more than just their ultimate functionality.”
May it be the source of materials brought in by a customer, or a joint concept developed in-house with the team, Bricker & Beam believes furniture should stand for something beyond itself; something meaningful.
In addition to the larger format wares, Bricker & Beam makes a variety of limited quantity, novelty items like leather utility rolls, flasks and portfolios, as well as custom cutting boards and coasters.
