Commercial Real Estate Professionals Invited to Industry Breakfast

Breakfast to explore revitalizing NAIOP chapter in South Carolina

Greenville, SC – June 2, 2008 – Professionals engaged in the development of office, industrial and mixed-use properties are invited to join the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) for a complimentary commercial real estate breakfast on Thursday, June 12, at the Embassy Suites Hotel Greenville from 7:30 – 9 a.m.

Commercial real estate leaders in the area are leading a discussion to revitalize the South Carolina chapter and will be encouraging all development professionals to join this renewed group.

NAIOP Vice President for Membership & Chapter Relations Marc Selvitelli will speak during the breakfast meeting to discuss the benefits of NAIOP membership and the role commercial real estate plays in the national economy. He will also address local, state and national issues of real estate development.

“South Carolina is a vibrant market with a strong commercial real estate base. We’ve already received tremendous interest and support from development professionals who are eager to revitalize this local chapter,” said Selvitelli. “The South Carolina chapter will serve as a catalyst for business opportunities and a new venue for networking.”

In addition to Selvitelli, speakers include Mark Cothran, president and owner of Cothran Properties LLC in Greenville. Efforts to revitalize the South Carolina chapter are being spearheaded by Amy Walsh, CES®, senior account executive with LandAmerica 1031 Exchange Services.
