Community Foundation of the Lowcountry hires new VP of Finance and Administration
June 29, 2026Community Foundation of the Lowcountry (CFL) announced that Sherry Burik has been named Vice President of Finance and Administration. Sherry officially assumes the role on July 1, 2026.
To ensure a smooth transition, Sherry will work closely with Interim VP of Finance and Administration Jim Gresham during the onboarding period.
An accomplished financial and operational leader, Sherry brings extensive experience in nonprofit finance, strategic planning, human resources, and organizational management. Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to transparency, Sherry has spent her career helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their financial foundations and enhance their impact within the communities they serve.
Sherry most recently served as the CFO for the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University (PA).
Sherry and her husband recently relocated to Bluffton from New Jersey. A passionate advocate for community engagement and healthy living, Sherry enjoys teaching fitness classes, sports and spending time with family, friends, and her two goldens retrievers.
