Community support needed: Georgetown Family YMCA launches September school supply drive

The Georgetown Family YMCA Youth Development Team has officially kicked off its “Supplies for Success” September School Supply Drive, running through September 25th, to equip local students with essential tools for the school year.
Equipping Georgetown Students for Success
As the new academic year begins, access to basic supplies remains critical for student learning and classroom engagement. The Georgetown YMCA’s campaign focuses on gathering crucial classroom essentials, ranging from basic writing materials to backpacks and school supply kits. 
Most Needed Items

Notebooks, paper, folders, and binders

Pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, and markers

Glue sticks, scissors, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and rulers

Backpacks and complete school supply kits
Community members, local businesses, and organization partners can drop off new school supplies directly at the Georgetown Family YMCA, located at 529 Browns Ferry Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440.
