Compass of Carolina announces 2024 Board of Directors

It is with much gratitude that we announce the Compass of Carolina’s 2024 Board Officers and Directors:

  • John Riddle (ELLIOTT DAVIS) as Chairman,
  • Heather Volz (FIDELITY BANK) as Vice-Chairwoman,
  • James Starks (BRADSHAW GORDON CLINKSCALES LLC) as Treasurer, and
  • Danielle Croft (UNITED COMMUNITY) as Secretary.

Serving alongside the Officers, Compass of Carolina Board Directors further lend support through committee chairing, insight and guidance on governance matters, oversight of operational efficiencies and compliance with ethical standards. The 2024 Board Directors are Jay Blakenship (RE-WA), Candance Code (LIFE CENTERED MOBILITY, LLC),Virginia Croft (CAPTRUST), Suzanna Fulton (ITW HARTNESS), Juan Gonzalez (INNOVATION BUILDERS & SPANISH WRITERS ASSOCIATION), and Stacey Jackson (COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER).

Each of these outstanding professionals give selflessly of their time to ensure that Compass of Carolina operates at the highest levels of transparency and accountability and under the guidance needed for continued stability and growth moving through its 105th year of serving Upstate SC.

Collectively they create a dynamic and strong team that empowers us in fulfilling our mission through their strategic governance. In 2024, Compass of Carolina celebrates its 105th year of providing compassionate services to individuals and families in need through counseling, education, and financial benefits management. Their vision is a community strengthened by resilient individuals and stable families.
