Computer Direct’s Volta Pro reviewed by Desktop Engineering Magazine

February 8, 2016

GREENVILLE, SC – The Volta Pro VP1 has surpassed 21 of 25 single socket workstations, according to Desktop Engineering.

Computer Direct Business, a subsidiary of Computer Direct Outlet, recently debuted the Volta Pro product line of high performance professional workstations. The workstations are well suited for 3D modeling and CAD applications and are intended for industries such as engineers, architects, designers, day traders, modeling and rendering.

The Volta Pro’s review was conducted by David Cohn of Desktop Engineering Magazine.

“The Volta Pro VP1 combines excellent components in a well-apportioned package offering great performance at a very attractive price” said Cohn. “If the Volta Pro VP1 is any indication, the folks at Computer Direct Business know how to build great systems.”

The Volta Pro(s) feature Intel Core i7 and Xeon CPUs, the fastest available Solid State Drives, and NVIDIA Quadro and AMD FirePro graphics card(s). The Volta Pro(s) are housed in a Fractal Design case that is customized with a satin coat of automotive paint and an understated backlit Volta logo and lined with acoustic padding to minimize noise.

Computer Direct Outlet set out to design the fastest professional engineering workstations, according to CEO Gary Underwood. “We are very proud that Desktop Engineering has acknowledged that we have achieved our goal with Volta Pro VP1.”

The Volta Pro workstation is available online for purchase at www.computerdirectoutlet.com/business.
