Conservative leader, Brenda Stewart, announces run for Laurens County Council, District 7 seat

Long-time Clinton resident, Brenda Stewart has announced that she will run for Laurens County Council, District 7 seat in this year’s election. Stewart is a well-known community leader and life-long conservative.

“Laurens County is a great place to live but we need some commonsense leadership,” said Stewart. “I will bring my extensive business experience to recruit new business, improve infrastructure and promote Laurens County.”

Stewart is known for getting things done. Through the years, she has been active in the community in leadership positions and spearheading special projects. Stewart served as a board member of the Laurens County Community Foundation and currently serves as the Chair of both the Rufus Sadler Tennis Foundation and the Laurens County Republican Party.

A business owner since 2011, Stewart owns a consulting business providing marketing and strategic planning services to professional service firms across the east coast. Prior to owning her own business, she served in various management roles in local and regional law firms.
