Continued Monetary Support and Food Drives Needed

COLUMBIA, SC – Harvest Hope Food Bank Is Requesting Continued Help From The Community by Hosting Food Drives and Monetary Donations Are Needed.

(South Carolina) Harvest Hope Food Bank is providing an immediate response to the devastating floods.  Harvest Hope Food Bank is in need of nonperishable food items to provide relief for disaster victims for families not in shelters.  Monetary donations are also greatly needed.

“With the continued aid relief for the Carolinas, Harvest Hope Food Bank is ready to continue to support the needs of those impacted by the storms,” said Denise Holland, CEO of Harvest Hope Food Bank.

Requested items include: canned meat, canned fruits and vegetables, 100% fruit juice, shelf stable milk preferable in individual containers, sports drinks, baby formula, baby diapers, and baby wipes.  Due to safety regulations, baby food can only be purchased by Harvest Hope Food Bank.  Donated funds are needed to help purchase baby food.
