Converse University and Hub City Writers Project to host author Charles Frazier

Hub City Writers Project and Converse University will host bestselling author and National Book Award Winner Charles Frazier on April 26 on the Converse campus. “An Evening with Charles Frazier ” will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Daniel Recital Hall at Converse University at 405 Blackman Music Circle, Spartanburg. Attendees will receive a pre-signed copy of Frazier’s latest book, The Trackers, with their $30 ticket purchase.
Charles Frazier is the author of Cold Mountain, an international bestseller that won the National Book Award and was adapted into an Academy Award–winning film by Anthony Minghella. Frazier is also the author of the bestselling novels Thirteen Moons, Nightwoods, and Varina. His newest novel has been included on Goodreads’ list of Most Anticipated Books of 2023.
Publishers Weekly has named The Trackers among its Top 10 Spring 2023 Announcements for Literary Fiction, calling it “a noirish story of art and theft unfolds in the American West in Frazier’s latest, about a New Deal mural painter who gets roped into tracking down a woman who vanished along with a prized painting.”
