Council awards contract for intersection improvement project on Daniel Island

River Landing Drive at Seven Farms Drive
Berkeley County Council has awarded the contract for the River Landing Drive at Seven Farms Drive intersection improvement project to Blythe Development LLC for $2,569,097.76. The contract was awarded at Council’s meeting on Monday, July 27, 2026.
This project includes the construction of a roundabout, along with landscaping and pedestrian improvements including the installation of rapid-flashing beacons on all approaches of the roundabout.
Total cost of the project is approximately $3.4 million. Funding stems from the 2022 Berkeley County One Cent Sales Tax Program. Learn more here.
Bids were received for the project on July 14, 2026. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall.
