There’s something new coming to Clinton.  You can’t help but notice the massive construction site just off Interstate 26 at Exit 54. Now coming close to completion, the countdown is on for the new QuikTrip Remote Store Network Travel Center.

QuikTrip or “QT” is a privately held corporation based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  QuikTrip is well known as a premiere marketer of motor fuel and convenience store merchandise. The company currently owns and operates 868 retail outlets in 11 states.  Forbes magazine lists QuikTrip as the 29th largest privately held corporation and Fortune magazine listed QuikTrip as one of the best companies to work for 15 consecutive years.

“QuikTrip is excited our Remote Store Network Travel Center is under construction in Clinton, SC,” said Aisha Jefferson-Smith, Spokeswoman for the QuikTrip Corporation. “Our Remote Store Network Travel Centers are approximately 8,000 square feet. This store will have 8 gas pump islands and 6 diesel pump islands for customers to fuel up.”

The Clinton location is projected to open this Spring of ’21 and will employ 20-25 smiling QuikTrippers who will all work different shifts.

“The store will be equipped with QT Kitchens that offer made fresh to order food and drink items, we will also offer grab and go freshly crafted sandwiches, salads, and wraps that will occupy your taste buds, or spoil yourself with our scrumptious donuts and pastries.” said Jefferson-Smith.

Speaking of food, have you heard about QT’s Mac & Cheese? QT’s newest menu item is a favorite southern food, and the QT version is getting rave reviews. Made fresh and available at all QT Kitchens locations so it will be available at the Clinton location.

QT Mac & Cheese is made fresh with four cheeses: cheddar, parmesan, American and Monterey Jack. The new item is available also in the Grab & Go format. QT Mac & Cheese can also be ordered on the QT mobile app and ready for a speedy curbside pickup at a nearby store location.
