Courtney Snow Announces Candidacy for PRTC Board of Directors – Waterloo Seat
October 27, 2024Community advocate and longtime Laurens County resident Courtney Snow has announced her candidacy for the PRTC Board of Directors, representing Area 3, Seat 2 for Waterloo. Courtney, known for her commitment to service and community leadership, has shared her enthusiasm for the opportunity to serve all PRTC members across Laurens County and beyond.
“I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Waterloo seat on the PRTC Board of Directors,” Courtney said. “As a resident of this area, I know firsthand the vital role PRTC plays in the lives of our neighbors. I’m ready to represent our community’s interests, ensuring that the integrity and reliability we rely on in PRTC services continue to thrive.”
Courtney’s background in law enforcement and her extensive community involvement have positioned her as a vocal advocate for Laurens County residents. Her record of service includes leadership roles as the former Laurens Jaycees President, organizer of local Christmas programs for children in need, and a member of the Laurens County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. Additionally, she serves as the Laurens County Crime Stoppers Coordinator, CHAMPS alumni, and is active in local charities and causes close to the heart of the community.
Courtney’s deep roots in Laurens County and her passion for service have led to numerous volunteer efforts, including supporting local veterans, American Legion posts, and child abuse awareness. Her commitment extends to her role with the Laurens County Prevention Coalition, where she collaborates with community partners to improve the well-being of local residents.
Her campaign centers on the principles of Integrity, Reliability, and Community. Courtney is committed to ensuring that PRTC remains focused on the values that have made Laurens County a strong, supportive community.
With voting set for November 9th at Laurens Middle School from 8:30 AM to 12 PM, Courtney encourages all PRTC customers to participate in the election. She noted that PRTC’s cooperative structure allows each customer to vote for multiple seats up for election, regardless of their area.
“I appreciate the incredible support so far and look forward to meeting even more of you throughout this campaign. Together, we can make a difference by upholding the values that make Laurens County a wonderful place to call home,” Courtney shared.
