Crafty Feast announces list of vendors for 9th Annual Indie Craft Fair

November 2, 2017

Shop and Stroll on Sunday, Dec. 10 at Crafty Feast, Columbia, S.C.’s One-Stop-Shopping Market for Thousands of Attendees

Nearly 100 makers of handcrafted and repurposed goods from across the Southeast and beyond will join the ninth annual indie craft fair Crafty Feast on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, S.C.

Of the 98 makers, 29 are new to Crafty Feast for 2017. Seventy-four are from outside of Columbia, and 35 are from outside of South Carolina – traveling from Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida.

“I have discovered and created friendships with some of the best creatives in the Southeast because of Crafty Feast,” said jury member and local maker Shanika Pichey. “It’s great to be a part of curating a list of talented artisans. There’s always great energy in the room amongst makers.”

New vendors include Pamut Apparel, from Raleigh, North Carolina; Catawampus Press, from Durham, North Carolina; and Scout’s Honor, from Columbia, S.C.

Returning vendors include Backyard Safari Company from Covington, Georgia; Smarty Pants Paper Co. from, Knoxville, Tennessee; and Jellykoe from, Columbia, S.C.

Known for funky, one-of-a-kind offerings and unique gifts for loved ones, Crafty Feast will host the juried merchants and nearly 2,700 attendees for a one-day-only market in the center of downtown Columbia, S.C. and its Vista district.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to make their own crafts at two DIY booths hosted by ByFarr Design and Columbia Museum of Art. Attendees will learn from local experts, creating their own prints, paper ornaments, cards and envelopes.

While checking off all the boxes on that holiday shopping list, attendees will enjoy a custom playlist of tunes provided by DJ Dr. P (Rockafellas-era music expert Scott Padgett).

Admission to Crafty Feast is $3 for adults and free for children 10 and under.
