Crave Clinton marks three years with a week of specials, giveaways and pirate talk

September 13, 2026

Crave Clinton is turning 3, and the downtown shake and tea shop is stretching the celebration across a full week.

The birthday week runs Monday, Sept. 14, through Saturday, Sept. 19, at 104 N. Broad St., with a different pair of featured drinks each day plus treats, giveaways and guest appearances from area businesses.

“Three years happened because this community showed up for us, day after day,” said Lori Wilkes, owner of Crave Clinton. “So we are not throwing ourselves a party. We are throwing one for our customers. Whatever day you walk in, there is going to be something to celebrate.”

The daily drink lineup:

  • Monday: Banana Nut Bread Shake and Cran Peach Mega Tea
  • Tuesday: Cookie Butter Bliss and Harvest Punch
  • Wednesday: Pumpkin Cinnabon and Peach Cider Mega Tea
  • Thursday: Chocolate Caramel Swirl and Caramel Apple Pop
  • Friday: Hazelnut Cream Coffee and Chocolate Turtle Shake

Several days also carry special events. Photographer Kayla Haupfear will offer free photos from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday. A gift basket giveaway is set for Wednesday. On Friday, Soul Punch will lead a self-defense demonstration from 1 to 4 p.m., giving customers a chance to pick up a technique or two along with a shake.

The week wraps Saturday with Talk Like a Pirate Day. Customers who come in speaking the part can enter to win a grand prize and pick up treats, and Julia’s Jewels will be on site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. offering permanent jewelry.

The shop also welcomes its team back from summer break this week.

Crave Clinton opened in 2023 and sits between Southern District and The Bohemian Color Lounge in downtown Clinton. Store hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Three years in, the celebration is aimed squarely at the customers who got the shop there, and anyone who walks through the door during the week will find something happening.
