Crawford Prezioso of Colliers International finds new location for Chosen Uno Training in Columbia

Colliers International | South Carolina Brokerage Associate Crawford Prezioso represented Chosen Uno Training Facility LLC in leasing 1,100 square feet at 2627 Millwood Avenue in Columbia.
“Gyms and workout spaces seem to be thriving again since they were allowed to re-open during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Prezioso. “Chosen Uno Training is one of the newer fitness concepts in Columbia that has quickly taken off the ground. This new space on Millwood Avenue had been vacant for some time and the landlord, Palmstar Millwood LLC, was able to make the deal happen quickly.”
As a 2020 graduate of The University of South Carolina, Steadman Rogers founded Chosen Uno Training in 2018 and focuses on personal and group training. He has trained a range of people from University of South Carolina students and players to NFL players such as Deebo Samuel, Bryan Edwards and Charone Peake to pageant contestants such as Miss South Carolina Overall Swimsuit Winner Shaylyn Simmons and former Miss Teen America Catherine Kirkland. Rogers won 3 state championship titles in weightlifting in high school and won the South Carolina Strength Athlete of the Year award his senior year of high school.
Chavis Dawkins, a former starting wide receiver for the South Carolina Gamecocks, is also both a trainer at Chosen Uno Training and a 2020 graduate of the University of South Carolina.
The gym is now open and, in addition to private and group training, they are selling a limited number of memberships to work out at members’ convenience. Rogers is encouraging all who are interested to stop by and check out the new gym and learn about their offerings.
