Cryptocurrency gaming studio makes significant donation to RMHC Charleston

December 9, 2021

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston (RMHC Charleston) would like to thank Adir Lakya and his team at KleeKai for their generous cryptocurrency donation.

KleeKai — a gaming studio that allows their community to earn cryptocurrency while playing — made this significant donation during Bobby Hartin of ESPN Charleston’s 9th Annual Radiothon, raising the fundraising goals to new heights!

“KleeKai admires and commends the important work of RMHC Charleston —
supporting families of hospitalized children by providing them housing, meals, and other resources so that they are free to focus on their children in a time of need,” says KleeKai’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We are very grateful to all who donated for this cause, and it is our privilege to give back to the community through this donation in support of RMHC Charleston’s mission.”

“We’re so grateful for the KleeKai community for this wonderful donation that is helping our families of critically-ill children in real time,” says Alix Robinson Tew, Director of Development for RMHC Charleston.

About RMHC Charleston

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston opened its doors 38 years ago as a “Home-away-from-home” where families stay while their children undergo extensive medical treatment. Here, parents and children lead a life as normal as possible during their traumatic times without the financial burden of costly hotel, meal, and travel expenses. Our home offers these families’ comfortable beds, hot meals, a caring staff, and a four-legged friend, Gardy, all just steps from the hospital.
