Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer Completes Over 2.4 MSF in Transactions in May; 2015 Volume Exceeds $968M

CHARLESTON, SC – Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announces the firm’s ten Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina offices completed 147 lease transactions totaling 1,408,527 square feet and a transactional value of $68,071,497 during the month of May. Industrial building transactions of 975,323 square feet accounted for the largest amount of space leased. Office and retail leases amounted to 280,755 and 152,449 square feet respectively.
In addition, Thalhimer reported 31 sale transactions in the month of May totaling $262,241,861 in sales volume. The sales included industrial, office and retail buildings and land transactions. Overall, year-to-date volume exceeds $968,560,000; an increase of 56% over year-to-date volume at same time last year.
