Cypress Development Partners announces construction of a new QuikTrip convenience store at 4680 Fort Jackson Boulevard near I-77. Cypress assisted the property owner in negotiations with QuikTrip and is managing the development on the owner’s behalf. QuikTrip is leasing the property for development of a new 5,000-square-foot convenience store that will include eight fuel pumps.

“QuikTrip is considered a ‘best in class’ company with a reputation for operating clean, safe and well maintained facilities and friendly customer service. Cypress Development Partners takes pride in securing and guiding this project in our ‘backyard’ close to where we live and work,” said Mark James, principal of Cypress.

Cypress Development Partners has also assisted with and provided input to QuikTrip on permitting, approvals and construction, James said. CBI General Contractors of Atlanta is building the new complex. Total cost of the project is estimated at more than $5 million, and the store is projected to open in early October.

The new store is being built on a little less than 2 acres of a 38-acre undeveloped parcel, owned by the same property owner. Access to the store will be through a boulevard entrance being constructed on Fort Jackson Boulevard that will also provide access to the remainder of the property for future development, James said.

The new store is ideally situated to serve I-77 traffic and the local neighborhoods of Kings Grant, Lake Katherine and Heathwood, and is in close proximity to the entrance of Fort Jackson.
