Dan E. Jones joins Time Warner Cable of South Carolina as Vice President of Public Affairs

Columbia, SC – – Bob Barlow, President of Time Warner Cable’s South Carolina Division announced the appointment of Dan E. Jones to the role of Vice President of Public Affairs.

Jones assumes responsibility for the company’s public affairs initiatives including government relations and the company’s lobbying efforts.  Jones will partner with the executive team to monitor, evaluate and develop policy positions on proposed legislation of interest to Time Warner Cable’s South Carolina Division.
Jones has more than thirty years of experience in Federal, State and local government relations work in South Carolina and Washington, DC.  Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Jones held the position of President with Governmental Consultants, Inc. an affiliation of Parker, Poe, Adams and Bernstein, LLP, Attorneys. He also held the position of Vice President of Public Affairs for Laidlaw Environmental Services, Inc.
