David Cuda of Colliers International elected President of South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association

Association’s former Vice President steps into greater role as outlook for state’s economic development looks better than ever

 

COLUMBIA, SC Colliers International’s David Cuda has been elected President of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association (SCEDA) at the organization’s annual conference in Myrtle Beach. Cuda has just completed his term as Vice President of SCEDA.

Screen Shot 2015-06-01 at 9.05.57 PMCuda, who serves as Director of Corporate Solutions for Colliers International South Carolina, has an extensive real estate background in finance, construction, development and consulting across South Carolina and has been involved in numerous regional and statewide initiatives. Cuda was one of the founders of the Upstate Alliance in 2000 and he has represented major national and international companies in various real estate and development services. Recently, one of Cuda’s major projects with Colliers International has been the promotion of the Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in the Upstate, particularly in showcasing CU-ICAR to potential partners throughout the automotive industry worldwide.

SCEDA, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is a professional membership association dedicated to developing the economy in South Carolina. With over 600 members from all 46 counties in the state, the association brings together local and regional economic developers, local and state officials, construction and engineering firms, utility companies, attorneys, consultants, financial institutions and higher education.
