David Lominack Elected to Lead the Region’s Largest Business Organization in 2016

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Chamber’s leadership has elected local business leader David Lominack, Upstate-Midlands Market President at TD Bank, to chair its Board of Directors in 2016. In 2016, he takes on the highest leadership role for the Greenville Chamber, which with membership over 2400, is the largest organization serving and advocating for businesses in our region.

Lominack will serve as Chair-Elect throughout the next year as Julie Godshall Brown chairs the Chamber’s 2015 board of directors.  As Chair-Elect in 2015, he will chair the Chamber’s Board of Advisors, a group of business and organization leaders who meet quarterly to review business community progress and needs, as well as provide planning for a specific Chamber initiative or event.

Current Chair Tim Reed notes, “David brings a wealth of knowledge of the Upstate having served in various capacities with for profit and not for profit boards. He is no stranger to Chamber leadership serving since 2010 as a director, treasurer and currently as Vice Chair of Organizational Excellence. David has been tasked with leading the charge for the Greenville Chamber to become one of the nation’s elite Chambers with an accredited status.”

According to Lominack, “I’ve had the pleasure of serving the Greenville Chamber for a number of years and am honored to serve as Chair in 2016. At 126 years old, the Chamber remains a key voice for our business community as we collectively work to grow, retain and attract world class companies and talent. About David Lominack

David Lominack is market president in the Upstate-Midlands region of South Carolina for TD Bank. As market president, David is responsible primarily for the management of day-to-day commercial banking operations. In addition, he facilitates partnerships within TD’s various lines of business to deliver all of the bank’s products and services to its customers.

David joined the former Carolina First Bank in May 1997 as a management associate. Upon completion of the Management Associate program, he served in a number of roles including branch manager, commercial loan officer, manager of Private Banking, and regional Retail Banking executive. From 2006-2010, he served as market president for the Midlands region of South Carolina. David returned home in 2010 to take on the role of market president for the Upstate region. He was promoted to market president of the newly formed Upstate-Midlands region upon the acquisition of Carolina First by TD Bank.David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Presbyterian College. He also is a graduate of the Stonier National Graduate School of Banking; Leadership Greenville; the Diversity Leadership Initiative at Furman; and is a Liberty Fellow.

David has served on numerous community boards including the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina and the American Heart Association, where he and his father, Dr. Ed Lominack, co-chaired the Upstate HeartWalk for two years.Currently, David is vice chair of the United Way of Greenville County’s annual campaign; vice chair of the South Carolina Bankers Association; and chair of Organizational Excellence at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.

David and his wife, Courtney, reside in Greenville with their three children: Henry; James; and Lynne.
