David Marshall joins Lanier & Burroughs

Lanier & Burroughs, LLC announces that attorney David C. Marshall has joined the firm and become a certified mediator by the South Carolina Bar’s Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification. David joins Lanier & Burroughs, LLC after practicing 10 years in Columbia at Turner Padget Graham & Laney, PA, where he worked on the product liability practice group defending complex litigation involving automotive, motorcycle and truck products, heavy equipment and machinery, construction defects, commercial trucking and transportation accidents, and other commercial insurance matters. David has an AV “Preeminent” Peer Review Rating by Martindale Hubbell®, which is the highest possible rating, and had several law-related articles published while in private practice, one of which won a national award. He is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, and Richland County Bar Association. David earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina. Additionally, David recently became certified by the South Carolina Bar as a mediator.

David and his wife Cristy remain active in the Columbia community, and are members of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church. Cristy is the President and CEO of a local non-profit, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia. They have four children.
