Davies Joins Greenville Tech as Dean of Library Services & Learning Resources

GREENVILLE, SC – February 8, 2011 – Cindy Davies has been named Dean of Library Services and Learning Resources at Greenville Technical College.
She comes to Greenville Tech from Piedmont Technical College, where she most recently served as Dean of Learning Resources for six years. Prior to that, Davies worked as Librarian and College Webmaster at Piedmont Tech. She has over 14 years of progressive experience and has demonstrated an ability to manage multiple campus sites, coordinate a cross section of learning resource services, and maximize technologies that enhance learning resources and library services.
Davies earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the College of Charleston, a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Leadership from the University of South Carolina. Davies is also a graduate of the South Carolina Technical College System’s Leadership Academy.
