Delicious by GB&D opens new full-service dining experience at The Commons

Third concept from the GB&D team brings seasonal chef-driven cuisine to Greenville’s beloved food hall in Unity Park
Delicious by GB&D, the third concept from the team behind Leo’s Pizza and GB&D, is officially opening its doors on Wednesday, May 14 at The Commons. The full-service restaurant introduces a refined, ingredient-driven menu crafted by Executive Chef Michael Bowens that spotlights locally sourced items, seasonal flavors and inventive comfort food in a thoughtfully reimagined space.
Located in the original GB&D space, Delicious is led by Bowens, whose culinary background includes The Cliffs, The Anchorage, Bacon Bros. Public House, and The War Mouth in Columbia. His vision for Delicious focuses on refined comfort food that is both approachable and inventive, showcasing the best of the region’s farms and purveyors.
“Delicious is a space where we can return to the roots of thoughtful, ingredient-driven cuisine,” said Bowens. “With Delicious, we have the opportunity to slow down and be intentional — to cook with the seasons, showcase incredible local ingredients, and create a dining experience that feels special but still grounded. It’s about taking familiar flavors and presenting them in a way that surprises and satisfies.”
Lunch guests can expect counter-service options such as sandwiches, soups, and salads. In the evening, the restaurant transforms into a full-service destination featuring rotating entrées, house-made pastas, and elevated small plates that change with the seasons.
In addition, the beverage program features a dynamic mix of cocktails, beer, and wine designed to complement the menu.
