Dennis Receives Financial Aid Honor

GREENVILLE, SC – Jeff Dennis, director of Financial Aid at Greenville Technical College, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) at the group’s annual February conference. This award is the highest honor bestowed upon SASFAA members and recognizes outstanding, significant and meritorious contributions to the advancement of student financial aid or the profession.
Dennis assumed leadership of the Financial Aid office at Greenville Tech in February 2015. Prior to that, he served as director of Financial Aid and associate vice president of Student Financial Services at Southern Wesleyan University for 17 years.
The Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators is an organization of 1,200 professionals working in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The organization works to improve professional development for financial aid personnel, to develop effective programs related to student financial aid, to increase communication among financial aid professionals, and to evaluate and update services.
