Dennis, Shaw, Drennan & Pack, LLC expands with addition of attorney, Virginia Hayes Wood

Dennis, Shaw, Drennan & Pack, LLC announced that attorney, Virginia Hayes Wood has joined the firm.

“We are excited to have Virginia join the firm,” said partner Michael Pack “Virginia is an experienced estate planning attorney with a real passion for helping people.”

In her estate planning practice Wood works with clients and their families to plan for their future and beyond. She has helped hundreds with a multitude of family situations. Understanding that each situation is unique, Wood helps clients and their families plan for incapacity and plan for transferring assets at death through the preparation of Powers of Attorney, Wills and various Trusts. She also prepares any necessary funding documents and coordinates with a client’s other advisors to align beneficiary designations and titling of accounts with the estate plans she puts in place.

Wood has worked for 8 years in private practice in the areas of estate planning, trusts and estate administration. Prior to going into private practice, Wood worked for 4 and ½ years in the trust departments of two local banks. Wood received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
